Cheyenne always puts a smile on our face. She is very smart and alert. She always notices something out of place outside, even someone sitting in a car. She takes two walks per day over one mile each, which she loves. She explores more each and every walk. We are waiting for her next shots before taking her to interact with other dogs, just to be sure.
At Christmas, we could tell she was used to being around children. She loved our niece and nephews and each morning would bark (high pitched) loudly outside of their bedroom to get them up in the morning. My sister thought it was just once, till it happened each morning.
Chey is very substantially boned. Her front and rear legs (lower) are thicker than my 6 year old AmStaff. Her front “wrists” are thicker than my sisters Boerboel who is the same age. Chey gains between 1/3 and ½ pound each day. She eats like it too! We are more than a little pleased with her.

UPDATE:
We wish the best for you and the family. As you probably noticed by the card, we couldn't be happier with Chey. When we had Rotties and Amstaffs, our family and friends always took to them because they were such nice dogs and well behaved. But, Chey takes it a step above, she has a presence when she comes into the room and is unlike any other dog / breed we've ever had. I am not kidding when I said we had a house full of family - we are talking siblings from PA & TX, Mother in law from MI & an elderly aunt from PA. My brother was the real skeptic, who read up on the breed when we first got her. He thought they were too much dog and warned me to "be careful". He never met Chey before this visit (and she's over 2 now) and by the time he left, was taking her picture at every turn. He was just amazed by her! Wouldn't surprise me if a Boerboel didn't show up in his family after retirement.
God Bless you all in the coming year!

Sammi has been and is still doing great! Jen, she is still the sweet girl she was when she was with you. She is very smart in a natural way. The other day she opened the patio slider... walked in the AZ. room, opened the french doors by pulling down the handle... walked through the kitchen and opened the "pocket door" and came and knocked at our bedroom door. All this while the others were right behind her. She still likes to "paw" you for attention and talks a lot with the boerboel grunts. She looks a lot like her mom. She is now 8 months and weighs a little over 100 lbs. She's really too cute to describe. Very Very loyal!
I know how your connection was with her. She is the girl she is because of the special love she was given from you, and we appreciate that! She is beautiful and has all the required breed traits as is the standard with the SABBA. Thanks again, you did a great job breeding a wonderful pup!
Best Regards,
Carmine and Millie
